Adult involvement is key
There is a lot of hard work and time that goes into providing a quality Scouting program. We encourage all parents to get involved in some way. Please consider signing up to serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop Committee member, and/or Merit Badge Counselor. Each of these roles serves the Troop and contributes to the success of the Scouts, but Merit Badge Counselors are registered positions through the Council. ScoutmasterOur Scoutmasters are the adults responsible for working directly with the scouts, helping them create the program for the troop. The Scoutmasters train the boy leaders to run the troop while providing direction, coaching, support.
